DMCA Copyright Policy
Manytoon respects the intellectual property rights of creators, publishers, copyright owners, and other rights holders. We respond to valid copyright infringement notices submitted in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and other applicable laws.
If you believe that copyrighted material available on or through Manytoon has been used without authorization, you may submit a removal request using the process described below.
Submitting a Copyright Infringement Notice
To request the removal of allegedly infringing material, please send a written notice containing the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature, or the signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. If multiple works are involved, you may provide a representative list.
- The exact URL or other information that allows us to locate the allegedly infringing material on Manytoon.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the owner’s behalf.
Providing screenshots without the exact page URL may not be sufficient for us to identify and review the reported material.
Review and Removal Process
After receiving a complete notice, Manytoon may review the reported material and take appropriate action. This may include removing the material, disabling access to it, requesting additional information, or contacting the relevant content provider.
Submitting a notice does not guarantee immediate removal. Incomplete, inaccurate, or unsupported requests may be delayed or rejected until the required information is provided.
Counter-Notification
If you believe that material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled because of a mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the appropriate United States Federal District Court, or any judicial district in which Manytoon may be found if you are located outside the United States.
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice or that person’s authorized agent.
A valid counter-notification may be forwarded to the original complainant. The removed material may be restored within the period permitted by applicable law unless the complainant informs us that legal action has been filed to prevent its restoration.
False or Misleading Notices
Copyright notices and counter-notifications are legal documents. Submitting false, misleading, or materially inaccurate information may result in legal consequences.
Before submitting a request, you should consider whether the disputed material may be authorized, licensed, in the public domain, or permitted under an applicable copyright exception.
Repeat Infringement
Manytoon may restrict or terminate access for users or content providers who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights. Appropriate action will be determined based on the circumstances of each case.
Third-Party Content and Links
Manytoon may contain links, embedded materials, advertisements, or services operated by third parties. We do not control content hosted entirely on external websites.
If the reported material is hosted by another service provider, you may need to contact that provider directly using its copyright reporting process.
No Legal Advice
This policy is provided for general informational purposes and does not constitute legal advice. If you are uncertain about your rights, the validity of a claim, or the consequences of submitting a notice, you should consult a qualified legal professional.
Changes to This Policy
Manytoon may update this DMCA Copyright Policy to reflect changes in applicable law, website operations, or our copyright-handling procedures. Revised versions will be published on this page.
